Is this a beachfront spot? Is there an ocean view?
No. Our casitas and gardens are in the mangroves just behind the west shore of the island (Secret Beach). The view is the littoral (mangrove) forest. The beach is a 10 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride, or super short golf cart trip to Secret Beach. We like it because it's away from the noise of the bars, "main" road, and super private. We have no immediate neighbors. But we have a clear view of the sunset, a lovely ocean breeze, lots of wildlife, and a dome of stars at night.
Is there a pool on the property?

What are the bathrooms like in the casitas?
All three casitas are the same. The bathrooms have sink, shower, and toilet. All casitas have hot water. The shower has an adjustable rainfall head above, and a handheld attachment as well. Towels, bath sheets, hand towels, washcloths and makeup towels are provided and laundered for you.
Each toilet has a hot/cold bidet attached the the toilet. As in many countries where plumbing is sensitive to toilet paper, Belize is a place where it is customary to put toilet paper in a trash can or closed container, rather than flushing it. We provide both bidet towels, as well as toilet paper.
Our water supply is completely self-supplied from a rain catchment system (stored in cisterns). We do ask that guests be mindful of the amount of water used while showering, so there's a healthy supply. Sewage is a three-stage septic system on the property, so please do not put any feminine products or other items in the toilet or drains.
